What’s Coming Up?

April 2019

Regional Tours

AbB’s regional tours are shorter in length than the cross country tours. From the Great Lakes to the Pacific Coast to leaf peeping in New England, our four regional tours in 2019 provide a range to meet the interest of any cycle tourist.

Great Lakes Tour August 11 - August 26
Ride the West September 07 - September 30
Maine Foliage Tour October 06 - October 11
Fall Foliage Classic October 12 - October 19

This month, take a closer look at the Foliage tours…

New England Foliage in Fall

America by Bicycle offers two tours in October through New England. Good riding. Beautiful scenery. Good food. The full package.

The Maine Foliage Tour spends 5 days exploring the backroads of rural Maine and its southern coastline. Our Fall Foliage Classic spends 7 days heading down the coastline of New Hampshire into Massachusetts before heading north and inland through “Norman Rockwell” communities of New England. Take in the colors, enjoy the coastal scenery, climb a challenging hill or two, and have a “lobstah” roll with “chowdah” along the way.

Looking for a longer tour? The foliage tours run back to back. Many of our riders join us for both. It’s a great way to spend 2 weeks in New England.

Enjoy the images & words of the 2018 ride journal for a closer look. Get all the details for both Maine Foliage Tour and Fall Foliage Classic on the AbB website. Plan to ride with us on one of our most visually stunning tours.

Cross Country Season

While the our Regional Tour season runs late summer into fall, our Cross Country tours are right around the corner. We featured the Fast America Ride in the April edition of AbB news. It’s close enough to follow but too soon to join. Don’t forget about our “more relaxed” options, Cross Country Challenge and Across America North. Starting in early & mid June, you have plenty of time to register, train, and join us. Make your bicycling adventure dream come true in 2019.
