Day 7 - Clarksdale to Sentobia MS

63 miles

Mid 50's low 60's

A trolley greeted us under cloudy skies as we road out of Clarksdale. The morning was flat, lined with fields of cotton and a railroad track with fuel cars that haven't moved in some time. As we road past a cotton gin the urge to see more drew a few cyclists in, and they were treated with a tour. The rain began to fall on and off for the rest of the day. If it had to rain, it was the perfect type. The kind that gently mists on you, keeping your socks dry. Nice short rollers marked the second half of the ride. There were horses and walnut trees and the gentle rain continued. Our first week completed. Tomorrow Memphis and a day off.
